well i tried to turn the car over yesterday by using a 27mm socket on the crank bolt but can't get it to budge, i know everything was put in correct and it was all torqued to spec. Something in it has seized it.

I even tried to get it to turn over by pulling the spark plugs out and cranking it but can't seem to get it to do anything. Is there a place around Campbell or 240 owners that would be able to help me out when i get there?

If all else fails i will end up parting out the ka-t and go and buy a sr..

sucks i been driving my 240sx from SAC. CA to tn and we are in Elk city, ok and sucks my sr20 is hating life i just got a exhaust leak and running shitty my wife that behind me in a kia say i fire coming out exhaust when i down shift.. and to top it i am having pilot bearing is making all kinda of noise.... o hoping my sr will keep going till Knoxville tn and rebuild time

All In One Auto on Kraft Street here in C-Ville can rebuild your motor, OR you can take the -T, and top end off and use the block for a core at one of the shops that deal with crate shot blocks. Again, All In One does know a little about 240's as the owner owns a S13 with a 400ci Chevy, and a S13 that he blew his motor in and is using parts from a scavenged KA24DE from an Altima to rebuild it with

Jason knows stuff, but his partner has been doing it hella longer. They are also usually amicable to an offer of JOB for $X cash offers too...they saved me$1000 on a cradle bushing replacement job as well as a huge mess, busted/burned knuckles, and a weekend in my driveway

That's good news redline, thanks for the info, after talking with some friends here they said I should just sell it or part out the internals and just go with a Sr20 with a t3 turbo..they said it will be a drop in swap and easier on me since I'm still learning the engine building process.

What do u think?

When you see Jason or the other guy, ask them about 'that crazy f!@#er' with the red zenki...comes from some asshat they know who was riding my bumper on the way to the shop last time I went there. I hate tailgating asshats, especiallly in my car that has new paint on it and is a replacement for one almost like it.

The one thing there is to do here is Friday Night at Electronics Express at teh mall. There are a few S Chassis, but I think you may fit right in with the small group of military guys(look for the yellow Subie, and the turbo'd S2k) 8pm. Watch out for the dips at the intersection and going up the hill though...saw some DipS@#t break his bumper cover on a Audi last time I was there...laughed my ass off, becuase he did it TWICE before realizing he afu'd his front end

Nice, I also got my tune from Martin at enthalpy, bad thing is my car is still at all in one auto...they are still trying to figure out what's wrong.

If I dont have my car running when you get your enthalpy tune let me know how good the tune is. I heard he has the best Rom tunes available that don't even need a safc.

I'm in Knoxville dead in the water. Came down to run the dragon and the clutch decides to jus go 600 miles from home. Do you guys know any body here with a sr20 clutch in stock or a place that even has the ability to change it last minute? Any help would be great thanks!

There is a shop called knox power that probably would be your best bet. About all they work on is 240's. The only way i know.how.to. contact them is facebook

Anyone ever R&R their ECU? It 'looks' simple enough, but I cannot find any clear insructions in the service manual. The ECU from RS E is tuned to take anything bolt on from ignition mods to intake/exhaust, but will have to be 'black boxed' or motherboard chip swapped if a set of cams or turbo kit is installed...esentially it covers all mods I am thinkin gof until I decide to break open the motor and rebuild it, besides, old OEM ECU's are, well OLD! They are showing their age by not running right or throwing false codes because they can no longer adjust fast enough

not that i know of. I will check and ask around
