KA replacement throttle body for stock ka24de?

is there any 'new' oe replacement throttle bodies available for a stock ka24de?

..or if not 'new' than just something 'newer' than a 90's ka24de throttle body?

Anything will fit with an adapter. Remember if your looking for a new cars throttle body most cars are drive by wire now so your looking a A LOT of work.

If your after stock replacement just hit up the parts store, you can have them ordered from autozone but last I looked it was really expensive or check out the dealerships.

nothings wrong with the existing TB..well..
my original one has a TPS screw neck stuck in it and the TB was fine.
a used replacement one i got, i think is bent or somethings wrong with it. It's letting more air in and giving me a high idle and no matter how much i adjust it, nothing helps and its burning up more fuel than it should.

..but i was just curious if there were any new replacements available out there.

Theres replacement but dont think that your issue. Good possibility is the TPS wasnt set where it needs to be and ECU think your TB is partially open. The small TB Idle screw may need adjustment as well.

no, like i said..no matter how much i adjusted it, same thing. and it only started happening once i changed the TB. tried the idle valve, TB screw, TPS, smoke tests for leaks..nothing changed. i'm willing to bet once i get that bolt neck out of my original TB and put it back on, it'll be ok.

i wasn't looking for a brand new TB as a solution, was just wondering if there was incase i decide to get one in the future.

You don't adjust idle on you TB.

Look in my Sig and that is the right way to do it.

like i said... i've already tried that. tried adjusting the idle air control valve screw, tried adjusting the TPS, tried adjusting the TB screw..i've already seen your post and followed that before, still didnt help. again, this all started happening once i change the TB.

It has to do with the way mobile browsers try to resize sites so you don't have to scroll side to side. Did you use a new gasket on the TB? Might have cracked the old one just enough to let more air in.

put a new(used) TB..adjusted idle..she's running fine now.

only issue is...runs a little 'inconsistent'. think theres an air/vacuum leak somewhere. will be running some tests.
