a lot of stuff is parish specific from what i've seen. no one i know of has had any problems; i mean, have you seen some of the cars running around?

if its before 96', there isn't much reason why they should be under your hood anyways.

what motor are you trying to rebuild? are you looking for a shop to tear it down and do a complete rebuild or just a good local machine shop you can take your bare head/block to for cleaning, honing, etc?

After a huuuge success last year the Cajun Drift Matsuri is back!!!!!!
650+ spectators last year along with 65+ drivers made for quite the event. Lets make it even bigger this year!!! With better organization than last year we are ready to make this an event to remember.

There will be drifting, time attack, judged car show, live music, food and more!!!

Drift games:
Sickest entry competition (1st and 2nd place trophies) - better your chance by going big and defying physics.

Tandem Team competition (1st and 2nd place trophies, one for each team member) - Get some tandem practice in with your drift bro and get ready to throw down a sick run for a judged tandem team comp. Put on a show for the crowd and put some tire marks on some doors.

Time Attack competition:
Simple and challenging. Think you have what it takes to lap our course the fastest? Give it a shot against the clock and lay down a fast lap for a shot at a 1st and 2nd place trophy.

Car show:
Best Import
Best Domestic
Best of Show
Peoples Choice Show Car
Most Intimidating
Most likely to get pulled over
etc etc!

We will also have some more fun and random awards for the event.

Most destructive.

We'll be celebrating our one yr and summin anniversary hosting drift events at NMSP so come out for an awesome weekend full of tire shredding action! Fun times! and Memories!

Circuit Course Layout(Dá Fétus): Saturday will be one direction, Sunday will be opposite, enjoy two tracks in one weekend!

Time: 9a-5pm(each day)
Spectator fee: $5 gate fee

Tech Rules/Safety Regulations:
Please make sure your drift car is up to date with general maintenance and no loose parts or leaky fluid can fall on track.
Here are a few simple must haves that is required to pass tech:
-NO Leaky fluids(zero tolerance per track requests').
-Helmets must be DOT approved and not older than 10yrs.
-Must have working seat belts (oem or aftermarket equivalent or better).
-All people in car wear helmets(chin strapped).
-Must have stiff/working brakes and pedal.
-Must have ALL wheel lugs/studs securely tightened.
-MUST have battery tie down.
-ALL CONVERTIBLE vehicles must have OEM roll bar or aftermarket roll bar equivalent safety standards to or surpass OEM.
-Exhuast must not be louder than 103DB from 50ft of a person.

Hey guys, Shreveport 240 owner here. Got a 1992 s13 with a redtop sr20det.

The sr's oil pump failed and I spun 4 rods lols, but no big deal
Yesterday I picked up another Sr, but it's a Notch top s14 SR.
I just need a turbo/fluids in the motor and I am good to go again.

In other news, anyone have a stock s14 t28 for sale?
