Rpms staying high and slowly going down after shifting
s13 sr20det recently it over heated coming up over a big hill now the rpms wont go down while driving. They go up when I am driving and when I put it in neutral they stay high instead of going down like they should. it is also over heating now I'm working on finding the leaks that have started since the overheat going up the hill I've searched all over this forum and others trying to find something similar to my issue and now I am making this thread.
Any help would be appreciated thank you |

is your throttle body sticking open? do you run a wideband, whats it reading if so when you let off the throttle
and how long are we talking to idle back down?

the throttle body is not sticking open I do have a wideband Ill have to check what its reading when it does it. I believe its running rich when this happens 14-16 its essentially just hanging probably takes a good minute or two for the rpms to go down like it would normally in neutral
