Angry s13 Door is Stuck Shut... please help.

we got my girlfriend a 1990 hatch a few weeks back. When we got it seller did not have driver's door handle installed b/c he said the lock had been removed b/c it was broke into. I found the handle in the glove box and installed it back on even though there was no lock. i installed the metal rod that pushes down the blue button. bolted everything up, shut door, tested it (with outside and inside handles),it works...awesome... went in to take a shower, went back out to car to leave, and door is stuck. i pulled and pulled, and nothing happens. so i duke boy that shit and try to push it open from the insidem still nothing. yes, it friggin unlocked. i get back out pry away door panel and try pushing on blue button, still NOTHING! what the hell is going on. any info would be greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance from me and my girl.

yeah...............

you probably need someone with experience to actually work on your car and fix this problem for you, because its not doing to disappear here on the net.

call AAA and have one of the guys slim the car open, that way you can repair/replace the faulty rod or latch mechanism.
