The fleet looks great altogether! Forgive me if I missed it, but what all do you have done to the coupe?

And the SR86? That's the one that still needed some work to get going right? Regardless that's a great Nissan fleet. I can see lots of hard work paying off these pictures.

SR86 runs and drives, just needs somethings redone to make it better.

But I am sad to report that come the 18th the Hachi will be sold
I just don't have room for that car up here and building the R32's are gonna take all my attention, so it will be going to a better home.

This thread is so full of win. Fucken epic that it all started in Japan and continued state side.

I'd love to hear more about that G-Sensor once you have more seat time. Looking at all the options to there, what made you go with the do-luck?
I'm considering one for my bnr32, but the "tarzan g-box, but I'm still researching the various options.

Is there a huge price difference in small items like this in Japan vs the USA? I'm doing a trip later this year. I'll be hitting some shops for fun and would love to bring some smaller items back.

Thanks man lol,

Haven't had much of a chance to put to test on a track but from dailing it it's a lot more senstive then the analog one, which is good.

Depends on what to are looking for and how much. Buying misc parts and having to pay companies to ship them state side adds up a good chunk of change. So buying yourself there could save you a few hundred bucks

Midori also has one out, price wise the do-luck is the winner.

Yep, I almost bought a Midori one but doluck having one over 10,000¥ cheaper I decided to go with them.

Finally got pads for the brembos and was able to bolt them up and utilize the stock hardline with a bit of flexing lol

Need to buy some extended studs so I can use a slip on spacer since the 15 mm bolt on spacer is too much.

Damn that's a whole lotta brake haha

after scouring through all my parts boxes i finally found my long lost tension rods lol now i can take it to get an alignment ^_^

When i installed the brembos i had to run a spacer to clear the rim, putting a 15 mil on there pushes the wheel out a little bit too far than what i like.

So bought some gktech extended studs to use some 10 mil slip on spacers.

tried to do this without taking then brakes off, was a little worried and upset when I knocked out the first stud to find out it was hitting a dust shield around the hub.....

Pulled the brakes off and noticed a grove/cut out for removing the studs (whew)

I have a 1" BM50 on it right now, for just the front it works pretty good, pedal feels a little softer but manageable. When I put he rears on it im sure it'll feel a bit softer than what I'd like and mess with my heel toe clutch and braking.

lots of electrical work lately, finally getting around to fixing these old gremlins.

DS window would sometimes not work, kinda the Typical S13 Amp problem.
Cleaned the contacts on the relays and reflowed a broken solder joint on the PCB pin.

Works like a charm now

Then the one I dreaded, the Blend door motor. Controls the temperature for the HVAC.

most of the time it was unresponsive and id have to reach across and wiggle the plug to get it to adjust.

relowed all the broken solder joints and BAM good as new

Thanks man, yeah still workin on that, still really miss Japan though
Will do!

Finally got an alignment done after finding my front tension rods.

Then was able to find a replacement fuel filter at autozone

Yeah it's about that time

This showed up in my driveway last week. My buddy just came from Misawa as well and brought back a Pulsar GTiR.

Lifted up his carpet to find the absolute worst rats nest of wiring I have ever seen from a Japanese dude.

This was all the extra wires I ripped out.

Much better

It's been a hot minute since I've been able to do anything with the engine. Trying to get use to living in the US now, living overseas I was getting spoiled with getting paid COLA money (Cost Of Living Allowance)

But Finally able to get some big priced items to get the engine one step closer to be finished.

Tomei springs and retainers. Can finally finish the valve train until the engine is running on stock cams then look into upgrading those.

ARP head studs, finally get the head bolted down and start bolting on the intake manifold and turbos once I buy some ARP manifold studs.

Got some bolts for the rear brembos.

The guy that does alignments up here locally is apparently the guy to go to for alignments. I just told him to give me good tire wear cornering abilities.

But essentially I don't think it should be much different than an S13

Zero toe all around and camber as the heart desires vs tire wear

Shouldn't be much different than a standard 4wd alignment

So finally after a year probably I'm finally making headway on the RB26.
Finally was able to have some free time and install the Tomei springs and retainers and bolt the head down.

My work bench lol

Happy to see that after 1 month of being on the sea the cylinder walls were rust free.

Copper Gasket spray on the HG

ARP's trq'd

At a stopping point since its mothers days lol. Should probably spend some time with the wife

Thanks guys, just really hates it's taken this long to get to this point :/

Tried to get intake bolted up today but seems I have misplaced the ITB's somewhere in my shit ton of parts and boxes:/

When for a ride today and clicked the Up switch on the DS window to only hear the motor turn and the window not move...... Yey -_-

Pulled the window assembly to find the the clutch packs in the motor cracked.

Luckily I have spares, so swapped in a spare and it's good to go now.

Finally nearing completion.

Got the Tomei cam cap bolts installed and cams bolted in. Just need to order a water pump, timing belt, some ARP exhaust bolts and find out where I hid my ITB's and can finish this thing.

I hope you end up finding those ITB's sooner then later. Going by the pictures posted, it's going to be quite the treasure hunt.
