Question Need help replacing the clutch.

Its my first time replacing the clutch and I dont know where to start. If you can help me I'd really appreciate it, thank you.

first time dont do it alone,

Properly secure the car for you will be underneath it.

1. detach slave cyl set it aside (2) bolts

2. remove drive shaft

3. remove shifter

4. remove transmission bolts

5. use a jack or somthing to support the trans then remove the trans cross member

6. wiggle out trans

7. remove pressure plate bolts and remove the pressure plate clutch disc should more than likely fall out with the pressure plate.

Also I recommend disconnecting your header where it meets the fake cat. It really does help you have more room to wiggle the transmission in and out. You can use the header as leverage to pull down your engine so you have clearance.

There is a great writeup with pictures of how to do it. That's the way I was able to do mine for the first time. I will edit this post with the link once I find it.
