Killer progress bud, I'll be following your build for sure.

I've never seen that happen on a WJ, do you have rust issues? I've got an 97 XJ with IRO long arms, 4.5" and 32's in a similar green to your pre-97. You lurk on Cherokeeforum or NAXJA ?

Thanks unimog (I would do some bad things to have a Unimog )

Apparently it has happened to quite a few WJ's - theres 3 layers of unibody there and the middle one (The one you can't see from below) rots out from the lack of proper sealant and gives out like it did.

I lurked on Naxja alot when I had my XJ (loved it, would consider another for an offroad toy) but I've been on Jeepforum and Cummins-swap sites lately. I'm buying an Unlimited Rubicon JK soon, and plan on getting into it with the 4BT swap or Isuzu 4BD2T. with mods 500 tq and 35mpg

Heading to Barrie tonight I'll snap some updated pics.

Thanks to my buddy Matt for laser-cutting these at work

Ya man, I miss mine. I drove a 1962 404S (soft top/troop carrier) to high school. If/when I get another one, it will most definitely be a diesel truck but there BA none-the-less. I never knew it was a common occurrence with those trucks although I don't doubt it; you can't put anything on an XJ without attention to the unibody. I post over on CF and NAXJA mostly. A JK with a 4BT would be awesome. I've got a buddy with a LR Discovery and 4BT swap. Good luck with the JK; at least you'll have a frame this time.

Anyways, sorry to distract from the topic; please proceed.

What he hell happened to this build?

Update it with detailed pics and explanations on the suspension please!

Getting ideas that i may want to convert my 240z to 240sx suspension.

Edit: Found this. Damn this guy really cut his z up to get his rear 240sx subframe in.

http://www.fluidr.com/photos/boostde...57627282201480

Saw a another thread of a guy putting bmw (not sure from what car) rear suspension in his z. Starting to think this whole suspension swap isnt worth it.
