Pink Slut just reminded me...

Do any of you bro's have pics of cageless harness mounting using either the RSTB or C Pillar bar for angle correction?

I wouldn't recommend the bondo idea.... bad idea and no need for it. You will actually create more work for yourself. Also, just like fiberglass resin, bondo does not like to bond to plastic as well as what paint does. So simply rough sand the pieces with 80 grit, then 120, 180 then use a filler primer. Prime the shit out of it... runs don't matter. Then sand that down with 240, then 300 wet and 400 wet. Should be butter smooth at this point and ready for paint.

I used the same process up to the 240 grit on the piece below, but this was getting textured, so I didn't bother with wet sanding. I just skipped to the texture coat after the 240 grit. Note: I actually used the texture coat as a filler primer since it's nice and thick.

my stalks look the same. Bought a new signal/light stalk a few years ago because mine was worn out. Need to do the same for the wipers since it's all gray and chalky.

My niece has the same pink rug in her room. I would like to see just how the final product will come out. I believe this is a first, ever.

It isn't my style, but I guess we'll have to wait and see...

Great idea using cheap strut bars as the only thing holding you in.

He was asking if anyone used them to angle the harness to the correct angle while still bolting it to the floor.

That's sketch, I'd use my stock belt before that setup.

if thats fosuede you need to get a material that actually stretches, other wise it will always look like garbage. also try to get an industrial fabric adhesive rather then 3m super 77 or 90. although super 90 will work

90 will work until it gets hot.

You need something industrial sprayed with a gun. and try to do small sections at a time and pull the fabric where it needs to go. And make sure you spray bothe the fabric and the door and wait for about 30secs until the glue sets a little bit.

^and that.. good tip..
if you cant get it perfect yourself you might want to take it to any interior shop.(the donk shops do it for nothing...lol)
they'll probably do it for 50 a side since its simple and small

A simple, "no thats not what he was asking" would have worked....but ok..

What makes bolting a harness to the thin floorboard any better?
Please explain. No sarcasm intended...

You don't bolt it to the thin floorboard. You bolt it to the factory seat belt locations for the rear.

The angle is still wrong though, but at least the belts won't tear off.
