Need help alternator wiring

I need some help, when I plug in my plug for the alternator and plug in my battery, I can hear a humming noise from the alternator area doesn't sound right. But when I unplug my alternator plug it doesn't hum and I also can't get my battery voltage to go to 14. It drops to 11.7. Is this wiring right?

I can't really understand the wiring from the pic. But I don't have a KA or SR so that could be part of the reason. Are you able to drive the car? Have Autozone check the alternator. If the diodes are bad, or the voltage regulator, etc. there could be a humming sound.

I've had trouble with my charging system for a year to where I have to manually disconnect the battery in the trunk every time I park it, and I hook up a trickle charger to it in the garage every single day.
