Gotta bleed the whole system. Use vice grips to get that bleeder out, pick up a replacement set of bleed screws from autozone. Have a friend/gf pump the pedal while you bleed it. You could also just sell the car before you get yourself killed by your halfass brake work
Thanks for the input, im not selling shit, nor did i realize brakes explode and immediately kill people once you undo them, i managed to luckily fix n bleed both without half the world catching on fire so thats a start right? Lol, bruh... im not even gonna bother with ur dumbass

Dude the danger isn't in the work itself. If you don't bleed your brakes properly... you don't stop.
Clamping the line doesn't do shit for you. When you put another caliper on, you got air in the system.

I know you think you're in the right by saying what you did in your quadruple post, but you aren't. There's probably about 40+ years of hardcore combined experience from just the people responding to you, who know you are not in the right. Let alone the hundreds that facepalmed at what you've said you've done, who did not respond. And we're trying to get you to see that.

Not only that, I gave you the best answer anyone could've/would've given you (especially on zilvia aka flameland), and you completely disrespected me in return. You are the epitome of the loser in this community who the guys that know what they're doing hate. In laments for you, because you probably dont get it yet: you are the fuckboi.

In for the part out when Jay crashes into something because he couldn't ......
I left that part blank because from his workmanship, it could be anything... stop, steer, accelerate.....etc

I dont know how low your car is because that could be a problem for my suggestion, but if youre a thinner guy like myself, you could park the right side wheels on top of a curb with the right side on the street. That should give you enough space to reach under and disconnect the sensor and pop a plug in the hole. Ive done this a couple times to swap exhausts.

Intermittent issue sounds like wire shortages to me, but i would still check the sensor first. You might even be able to have a friend drive while you monitor the sensor input/cluster output pins at the ecu instead of going the whole take it out route.

@zombiewolf513

Im fairly certain the sensor is fine bc i originally had an s13 speed sensor in there (came w transmission during prev owners 5 man swap) and the same thing happened regarding the fluttering, but it seemed like the speedometer worked less often than it does with the s14 sensor. So I agree that I'm certain there could be an issue with the transmission of the input/output signal. I guess Im just not certain on how to look into it and where to start troubleshooting the harness

Find out in the FSM which pins are the input/output, then just use a test light on the pins. See if it flashes relative to speed

meh, no skin off my nose. You seem pretty thin skinned though.
M, I have been working on mine for a while to get it back to good form after it was wrecked. Drill out welds, replace a small portion of the frame, bust my ass in my friend's shop until it went from a wrecked red car to the beautiful gunmetal ride it is today. Currently working on replacing the head...because I learned a valuable lesson in timing and incorrect timing which cost me a nice tidy sum and lots of time. I moved far beyond bolting shit on a long time ago, and brakes, hub swaps, cat backs and intakes, that's skill level 1 stuff kids who are living in their parents basement do.

I kinda rebuilt this car, bled and sweated my ass off when I saw the corr support forward and from the seam forward had to be drilled out and replaced. A years worth of work, hard work, BUILT work

nah, I don't 240 at all

@zombiewolf513

I know you're at least following, but I haven't had time to check out the pinout since I don't have access to a voltmeter yet. But I was driving today and my tachometer literally went from 3k to 0 then back up. Repeating something similar several times during my journey. I guess with this coupled with my speedo not working, do you think something is up with my cluster?

Between $150 to $500, depending on how many lowballers are in your area.

Out here in TN, $150 - $250 if it has over 200k on it, $250 - $500 if it is <150k
Be wary of truck engines though. A 240 KA24DE made in Japan has a CRANK GIRDLE on it that the Mexican truck engines do not have, but they look the same on the outside

Ok guys my boost gauge isn't working, I have a brand new autometer ultra lite II tha only reads boost not vaccum too. I hooked up the line to T off the fpr and still no reading. Do I have It in the wrong place? I know the gauge works cause I can blow into the line and it reads it.

if there is no vacuum indicators on the gauge, its meant for a super charger.

i believe youre meant to T from the wastegate or BOV vacuum, not FPR. if i remember correctly, T'ing from the FPR vacuum will actually mess with your overall vacuum strength going to the FPR itself. i have mine T'd off the BOV was my wastegate is tapped directly from the turbo intake pipe at the base of the turbo.

i believe youre meant to T from the wastegate or BOV vacuum, not FPR. if i remember correctly, T'ing from the FPR vacuum will actually mess with your overall vacuum strength going to the FPR itself. i have mine T'd off the BOV was my wastegate is tapped directly from the turbo intake pipe at the base of the turbo.

My boost gauge looks like this one, are you saying this is for a supercharger?

That's for a supercharger, no vacuum readings.

Interesting, I never even thought about it, I guess knowing vacuum would be useful as well. I feel stupid now
