Yeah most electrical epoxy is non-electrically conductive but thermally conductive for potting.

What are you trying to do? There is a lot of stuff for different applications.

Its for those stupis tabs for the rear defroster lol. When i got my car they didnt work, never really had a problem with it over the winter. Just trying to fix everything the owner had messed up. I know online they have kits to fix it, im just trying to see if the conductive epoxy is cheaper.

easy question i hope...on an s13 hatch, do the tail lights usually have a slightly larger gap on the very outside edge of the tails on both sides...mine is evenly bigger on both drivers side and passengers...it looks funny to me, but then again the car was made in 1990, i could see that being acceptable...im re-fitting and re-sealing the tails, and if its normal ill leave it alone, if not ill be doing some hammering on the metal to fit them

if i remember correctly, they have special silver paste for this. Its pretty much brush on, you just outline what you want filled in with a wax pencil and then brush it on and let it dry

prolly 10x cleaner than epoxy

I put my BC spec 2 on today, and it leaks by the cat. I know why it leaks, but that's not the question. The question is, why the hell does it smell like burning sugar? If you've ever smelled burnt sugar it doesn't smell bad, but it definitely shouldn't be coming out of a car I don't think. Only by the leak though, the rear smells like it normally would. I'm going to fix the leak this weekend, but I still want to know why that smell is coming out.

yea thats the stuff im looking for. That is the actual window repair stuff. They didnt have it at the local parts stores. They said electrical epoxy will work. Any conductive adhesive will work

But to answer your question if you want oem you can go with r32,33,34, z32,j30, maxima, q45 many lol. All about money lol. buy some brembo rotors though thats what i have and i love them. work well too im stock 4 lug.

maybe you have some extra sugar cubes stuck in the cat? No but really have you checked the screens? A buddy of mine was following me in my car before i changed my cat, and he said it smelt funky drving behind me.. or thats just what that burnt gasket smells like.

Come to think of it, do you have any white smoke coming out the back? Becuase collant in the oil tastes sweet. Maybe a resemblance?

i thought z32 and such have bigger diameter rotors?

I'd love to spend the money on brembo's but brembo rotors wont do be shit if im running shitty pads, which i am. I plan on upgrading everything soon so i also don't wanna fork that money over for such a short time frame

Yeah, the company that makes the stuff to fix broken defroster traces also makes a glue for the tabs. Right next to each other at the parts store.

The rear rotors are the same 89-98. I think S14's came in 5 lug...

go to a junkyard find a q45 and pull whole front brake system and upgrade all at once. Not too much smaller than the z32 rotor size, only 2 pistons more on z32 calipers.

White smoke is only due to it being cold at the moment, after the car warms up it stops releasing white smoke. It may be the gasket, because I didn't change it, I'm still using the old crumbly one that was in there, also the cause of the leak. That and The bolts on the stock cat were too short for the thick flange on the exhaust. I'll see if it stops smelling once I change the gasket, hopefully that's it. I'm already burning/leaking oil, I don't need to be burning coolant now too.... LOL.

sweet smelling exhaust is usually caused by coolant leaks getting in there. Head gasket might be blown, run a compression test to see if its the problem

You might also have some vapors coming from the exhaust, white smoke, but itll be hard to notice since its dead winter lol

It may be filtered by the cat or something and thats why you dont smell it at the tail pipe

Yeah but what about the fronts? Should they be the same or should i just get a machine shop to redrill?

I would assume stock s14 se rotors would fit since they were 5 lug all over, makes no sense to run smaller rotors in the rear or something.

the only reason i don't want to redrill is cause i dont want to have my shit to tear through the skinny metal left from the redrill. I don't wanna have my brakes shear while on the highway or something and then end up with a steering column through my face cause i was cheap. That's why its last resort

yes. driving in the winter isn't a death trap if you know how to drive properly. You'll just get the shit rusted out of the car over time

almost every motor out there has a head gasket, and they all blow eventually. You're car is 15-16 years old, at least the motor isn't dying.

I just ordered 5-lug rotors from frsport a week or two ago. They were cheaper than local parts stores and in stock. They have some sort of anti-corrosion coating on the hat, don't know if it's durable or not.
