I'm surprised as well... people don't see that there is literally $13,000 in this thing

I can also do 5k without Hardtop, Wheels, Exhaust, Shift Knob, Headunit, and Steering wheel set up. Even at this price, you're getting a low mileage, mint, fully repainted Miata with Hard Dog roll bar, frame bracing, suspension, Tomei 2-Way LSD ($900 by itself) and recent engine work (timing belt, cam seals, gaskets, belts, bearings)....

Yet people insist on paying 1-2k less for a much shittier, stock Miata with higher mileage

Yeah, i think you just have to find that "right" buyer that specifically wants a nice miata. That is one sweet price for 5k. I'm actually in the market for one but just a tad outta my price range right now. All the ones i've seen are shitty and going for like 3-4k.
