Smog help!

I have a 97 Kouki that had a auto to manual trans swap.
Found out it currently has an auto ECM and is giving me a check engine light for the IAC valve.
I can't seem to find a 97 manual ECM anywhere.

Question is: Would I be able to run a different year manual ECM? What are my other possible options?

Thanks guys

The ecm will only affect the rev limit...should get your other codes fixed for that

There are a ton of threads that address this issue, especially when doing the swap. Use the search function. you must use a 5 speed ecu in order to pass smog for the kouki. I believe you can use a 5 speed ecu from a zenki but you need to repin/ relocated some of the wires at the ecu.
