Thanks! Yeah it's risky but I've only had a support truck so far, no trailer. I've also had a mechanical every event. Shifter came unbolted the first one, blew power steering the second, ground wheel on LCA the third, and brake leak / oil plug the last one.

I believe the Vette is sitting at around 28k and mean as ever.

Took third this past Sunday at the NODRFT Final Four Round 1 event. Extremely happy with the progression of everyone, myself included. Cages are now required for tandem with passengers. This will be the last year for tandem without a cage.

The VQ35DE hatch started this weekend.

Custom harness work by Hexagarage.
NATS removed by Osiris.
Fuel rail adapted to use the return system on the S13.
Had to rewire the flywheel sensor since the plug was ripped off. -_-
Three of four pedal sensors threw throttle codes. The one off my HR car worked.

I really like the exhaust note.

STATUS REPORT
Car is taking a ton of abuse from dailying and driving 150 miles round trip for the drift events in NoLa. I believe the exhaust is broken in several places. The fuel filler neck is bashed in from fun tandems. There are lots of fun noises happening while driving. My 10A dash illumination fuse keeps blowing during commutes for some reason.

I posted a stripped two tone coupe chassis a while back. Now that the VQS13 hatch is close to driving, the plan to cage the two-tone is getting close to starting. During this changeover I plan on revisiting a lot of the choices made in my build, as well as improving on things that I've originally done.

VQ35HRS13 Sil-Coupe version Two(Tone)

Gold firewall wrap
Long tube headers with collectors, Vbands, and resonator
Reinforce strut towers ( mine are tearing, again )
Cage
Z steering rack on S subframe moved forward ( This will solve several issues with my car: Starter clearance of steering rack since the Z rack input is farther from center, installing the wider Z rack moved forward will get rid of the need for the offset steering rack spacers.
Heater / coolant bleed line
Revisit installing Z A/C :O
Revisit installing a fuel cell... maybe ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Hydromat fuel pickup
Metal Rocket Bunny widebody ( special project )
Z front hubs mounted on custom angle uprights based on Wisefab kit ( shopping cart caster physics, another special project )
Tube front
Aluminum removable inner fender tubs
Brake bias hard line routed for adjustment in cabin
Heat shield stock fuel and brake lines on passenger side
Custom LED / HID Silvia headlights
Pedal box - emphasis on heel-hinged throttle pedal and better positioning for heel-toe
Switch panel with breakers
NATS RFID in remote for push button start without a key but retaining anti-theft
Shorten shift bracket and linkage (GKTech is working on some interesting ideas)

I don't plan on doing all of this before migrating the VQ to the 2tone, but a lot of it will be much easier without a motor in the bay. Basically we've been able to acquire lots of the tools needed to plasma cut CAD designed plate steel, press bushings, bend and notch DOM tubing, etc. and have been putting it all to use.

I may make another thread. I can't wait to get started.

Are you still running the same axle setup from the first page? The driver side s13 axle with the inside cv swapped out to a z cv? I was thinking of having GetNuts make me z33 pattern stub shafts for my r200 and they say that I could then use z33 axles on both sides. Nothing about one side being too long.
