FL FS: Z31 85 300zx

This is a 1985 Nissan 300zx / GL / 2 seater / Non-Turbo with 216K miles on original motor and chassis. Still pulls strong! Engine has never been apart.

Recent Trip to Atlanta, GA yielded 27 mpg and no problems

Recent Maintenance and Upgrades (Most within last 4months/ 1000 miles)

-All new fluids (Brake (Dot 3-4), Oil (Castrol High-Mileage), Coolant, Trans (MT-90), Diff (Lucas), Power Steering (ATF)) Completed June 2012

-MSA Ceramic Coated, long-tube headers
-3" MSA exhaust w/ mandrel bends and Megan Racing Test Pipe
-Custom fabricated coil-over suspension system (rear ride height adjustable in car) by Don Ahrens Z Specialist in town who specializes and road races Z cars and Miatas
-MSA sway bars front and rear 26mm, solid
-EGR block off
-New steering rack (added new power steering cooler at the same time and fluid)
-Rebuilt transmission by Don Ahrens (new bearings and syncros)
-Short shift kit (ISIS)
-New Polyurethane engine mounts
-New Polyurethane transmission mounts
-All new Polyurethane bushings (sub-frame, trailing arms, etc. Every bushing was replaced except steering rack, looked to be in ok condition)
-New ball joints
-New inner and outer tie rod ends
-New Polyurethane differential mount
-New axles
-New rear main seal
-New clutch
-Resurfaced flywheel
-New pressure plate
-New clutch master cylinder
-New clutch slave cylinder
-New brake pads (Hawk Blue performance/ street pads)
-New rotors (all 4)
-New rear calipers (did brake flush at the same time)
-New oil pan gasket
-New timing belt w/ tensioners
-New water pump
-New spark plugs and 8mm wires
-New fuel filter
-New Distributor (OEM Nissan)
-New Electric fan for cooling (switch activated)
-New front wheel bearings
-5 lug swap for a wider range of wheels (using all OEM parts)
-Battery moved to rear for better weight balance (Battery is in good condition, had tested in August 2012)
-New Silverstar headlights
-Removed about 400lbs from the car to lighten it up
-Hydraulic e-brake (ISIS)
-Welded differential by Conkling Automotive
-Extra steering angle mod (steering arms welded) by Kevin Smith Racing (KSR)
-Legal Tint on windows all around
-T-tops and pop up headlights if you are into that kind of thing

This car is street legal and currently serves daily driver status. It has been modded to have dual purpose as track car.

The AC components have been removed along with the carpet, radio and unnecessary interior components.

This car is ready for the track; Drift, Autocross, Road Race, you pick!

This car is very reliable, never had a problem or has been stranded. It also has a clean title and history, no accidents, straight body. No rust, Florida Car.

Has been featured in Grassroots Motorsports $2010 and $2011 challenges.

I want a new project and this car deserves a new home. Fresh paint and a cage would finish it off.
