Let me start off by explaining the issue.

I have gone thru 7 fuel pumps now, 2 of which have been wired to there own relay.

The problem of fuel pressure loss and eventual fuel pump failure only occurs during drifting. So the issue is impossible to replicate at home to try and figure out.

Recently swapped a ls into the car and installed a fuel pressure gauge, yesterday before the event I had perfect 58psi. One run later it dropped to 20psi and needless to say the car was trailered home.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

is your tank pressurising? I mean the filler cap is supposed to allow the tank to vent, so if its knackered then the pump will drain the fuel out but the cap wont allow air in to take the place of the used up fuel
