1997 BMW M3 Turbo E85 550whp+ *PART OUT*

***
Parting out car turbo stuff (500mi) coilovers (2000mi).
***

*Will trade, especially for an rx7*
*Price is negotiable*

Selling '97 M3 Turbo with 163k miles completely rust free. Has a rebuilt title I can point out the repairs done in person, the damage was caused by an accident to the passenger rear corner. The suspension is aligned and everything is straight and I have an alignment spec sheet to prove it.

Car is capable of 550whp easily. Could push closer to 600whp as it sits. I can go over the limits of all the components if interested. More horsepower can be easily made with some tweaks. The tune and injectors are capable of up to 900whp.

RKTunes full time e85 (115lb injectors) tune, can be tuned to run pump but the power will be limited
Car is still running stock 10.5:1 compression because E85.
Precision Turbo PT6266
CXRacing manifold and intercooler kit
FXRacing stage 3 6 puck clutch (sprung)
JE cutring headgasket
ARP headstuds
Turbosmart 38mm wastegate
Turbosmart 30psi mechanical boost guage
Turbosmart dual stage boost controller
AEM wideband oxygen sensor with open air calibration
Custom 3 inch straight pipe exhaust, set up for a muffler to be welded on to the end of it I have not had time yet

Needs:
Wastegate to be plumbed into downpipe or properly dumped to atmospher
Turbo blanket
Muffler
Final tune done after a datalog
Small misfire likely related to maf turbulance may need some reworking of intake piping
Brake pads and rotor resurface soon

Other maintenance:
New driveshaft guibo and center carrier bearing
HSD coilovers only 2k miles on them
New thermostat
Front suspension full rebuild including control arms and all bushings and tie rods etc
Rear suspension has new rtabs
ecs lug conversion
ecs 15mm spacers on front wheels
m contour wheels painted white

There's definitely stuff I am forgetting.

The salvage title and fact that it doesn't run well probably isn't helping.

Then use that to negotiate a better price, someone could get a hell of a deal on a built car.

You have every right to ask whatever you want, but it sounds like you don't even believe your asking price is reasonable.

People may be hesitant to offer something at market value or "he'll of a deal" price if the gap to begin negotiating is too wide.

Yea good point, I actually had a friend who insisted starting high who usually has good luck selling cars. Maybe I won't listen to him next time lol.

It sounded fun until it needed a tune and had a misfire on a heavily modded car. bmw's love to misfire and chasing that problem is not fun.

Will the misfire be fixed as well?? It seems pointless to get a tuned on a non 100% running vehicle.

Clean car however!

That's why I haven't sent back for the final tune, when I get the time I am going to clean up the intake piping so it goes through the maf better so it doesn't misfire and then send back for final tune. It has a 2.75 to 3 inch increase in diameter fairly close to the maf which I plan on getting rid of when I get around to it I just haven't had time so the new owner can do it if they'd like or if no one wants to buy a car and do that I'll fix it myself when I find time.
