FWIW -6AN lines slide on 5/16th barb perfectly. I ran full new -6AN fuel lines and clamped them onto my fuel hat to avoid modification for a bulkhead fitting.

Few small question!
1. I want to see your fuel line setup. I know people are running the stock line and doing the switch in the engine bay. Do you have other cleaner ideas. Wanna see what kind of holder you use.
2.Do you use the lower mk4 lower radiator hose?
3.While we're at it. has anyone did a downpipe that connects to the stock catback location

Make sure you don't get the Aluminum fittings. They need to be stainless steel or mild steel. The aluminum ferrel sets don't not crimp the factory steel hardline and will leak.

Hey all, I know this isn't entirely JZ related, but I figured I'd ask. I'm having trouble getting my speedo to read anything. I have a Marlin Crawler VSS from my R154 to a Dakota Digital SGI-5, then to the speedo itself. When the car is moving, the light on the Dakota is flashing, so I know it's receiving a signal. But I can't seem to get the signal to the speedo at all. I've tried every setting that I've seen by searching for the problem, but haven't been successful. any ideas?

Earls 16? Row Cooler, No fan. No real issue keeping the trans cool doing street pulls and cruising, haven't pushed it hard repeatedly, might grab a bigger cooler with a fan in the future.

Does anyone happen to have a picture of a CD006 next to a R154/W58 or R154? Looking for some size comparisons.

I just was doing mine (S13) last night. I ordered Part numbers 19048 and 18774 from RockAuto off of a suggestion in here and they look they'll mostly work. I had to cut one and buy a union for the upper hose but close enough. Good luck!

Has anyone had problems using a SS clutch line from KA/SR and using it for the R154 slave cylinder? Mine hooks up just fine, good length and all but leaks a bit at the line/slave cylinder connection. It's on there good and snug but still doesn't hold. Might try using a crush washer to help. Any suggestions or input?

Is that for 2j? looks like the upper will connect to the top of the head, vs 1jz has to 180 back around

1JZ VVTI..but I imagine the water pipe is the same as the non-vvti 1JZ. I'll take pictures tonight to better show how they look.

Edit: I'll try and explain in the mean time. On the unequal S shaped hose, I cut the shorter end off so there was a long 'r' and a short 'r' piece. The short 'r' hooks perfectly to the lower heater hose spot that's right in front of you when looking at them. The long 'r' I've turned to face the driver's side of the engine bay and taken the other heater hose and turned it into a 'C' so that it faces the long 'r'. I didn't finish last night but it looked like a union will connect them just fine.

For sure, I ended up cutting the old ka heater hose and got the lower 90deg on. but the top seems a bit harder.

Not mine, just found on google images. I thought I had a pic of my r154/z33 trans together. The z33 is massive compared to the r154. If you seen the r154 next to a sr/ka trans and thought the r154 was beefy...Its just like that lol. I have maybe .5in-1in of clearance on each side of the trans tunnel for a s13.

Does anyone besides CX Racing make a throttle cable bracket for the swap? I have a non VVTi in my S14 so it doesn't work..

I just purchased a brand new S14 cable and I would rather use this one.

I currently don't have access to a welder to modify my existing bracket.

When I first got my swap running, I just got creative with my old KA bracket... Now that I think of it, it might have been the cruise bracket IDK...

I can take some pics for you if you'd like. I tried 3 different camry cables from 90's to up to 2000. They were all too long.
