ABS master cylinder only has two outlets, one for the front and one for the rear. from there it goes to the ABS unit and the outputs of that go to their respective brake calipers. if you try and use the ABS master cylinder without the ABS unit then one of your front calipers wont be hooked up. you need to find a non-ABS master with three outlets.

Just for starters, eventually i will do a ka-t setup but to begin just this, what do you guys think? Any cheap power increases?
I wouldn't use anything other than OEM ignition parts, set the gap towards the wide end of the spec. I'd go 2.5", no bigger on the exhaust, straight thru is fine. Advancing the dizzy is good. relocate battery, or move somehow and have a short ram intake from the the battery tray. My KA responded well to this. You have butterflies in your intake, not sure about those. Remove mechanical clutch fan. You should be able to rely totally on your electric fan, assuming S13's have an electric fan.

Will a S13 sub frame bolt into a S14? What about complete front suspension? (cross-member, coils, power brace, knuckles et al).

anybody have any ideas what this could be? its not something stupid like my keys rattling.

SR Intake manifolds??

Just curious, Are the S13 SR Intake manifolds and S14 SR Intake Manifolds interchangable? Wondering if an S14 would work on an S13 Sr20det? Is either one better? Thanks.

please delete your post, and google each word separate. a dictionary will help your answer.

Just about every Civic and Neon in "the scene" did it back in '97. If you wanna go that route, go for it- to each their own. Just fair warning- you WILL be laughed at.

rear subframe - not easily, and it's a waste of time.
front suspension - yes, if you drill the lower mounting holes bigger to fit s14 bolts or don't drill and use sleeves for the 13 bolts
cross member - yes
power brace - no

Thanks. I found you can swap a S14 sub into a S13, so I figure the reverse is true. Any idea on coilovers?

I'm asking because I have a newly rebuilt S13, needing only cosmetics, but I've been thinking of going to a S14....right after I should my conversion harness for pennies, figures.

By front suspension, i was referring to the coil overs.

you can swap a 14 s/f to a 13 and vice versa, but you need offset bushings to do it right.
people swap a 14 s/f to a 13 because of the way the rear end works on the 14 and it's a little wider.
when you launch a 13, the rear wheels camber in during the squat whereas a 14, the rear wheels tuck straight up leaving more rubber in contact with the road. so swapping a 13 s/f into a 14 would be more of a 'downgrade'.

Thanks!

I figured it would be a downgrade since I've found the S14 into S13 stuff.

My sub is stripped and recoated, PBM bushings, welded diff, poly bushings in knuckles and arms. It'd be a pain to do all that all over again.

No no no.. Not some crazy color?! I want to change it from the rare navy blue to black. Thats not outrageous but just simple. Any certain brands for vinyl paints?
