Well I found a set of Ganador mirrors for the Chaser, so I'm calling it quits for a bit. I actually found them on Up Garage for less then what they were selling on YAJ. To give you an example, I had a losing bid of $600 (before shipping). I got a pair for $400 before shipping and I couldn't be happier.

God these prices are bananas...

stuff adds up quick... its crazy. just got my stuff from jesse today. got to my house pretty quick. everything was packaged really well and i was happy. i need to block YAJ for a while because this was a lot more than i wanted to spend lmao....

That moment when you forgot you bought wheels for the DD and they arrive.

Got them sent by sea as I wanted to see how it would work out. Turns out I paid less customs fees than I expected and it arrived faster from the post office compared to getting them sent by air. Aero mirrors are STILL in customs (since the 23/9

). They arrived in 2 days from Japan.

Not too shabby for ¥5,200

Another A+ for Streeter.

I do it on wheels. I just got a seat and opted not to. Import tax on the wheels was like 10%

When do you pay the import tax? Once they are received in your care? So if its lets say 900 for wheels after jesses fees and shipping it would be another 90 bucks?

I've only had to on items of high value. Like when I got my exhaust I insured for full value.

On high valued items yes. Nothing would suck more then something bad happening, and not being able to recuperate most of the funds back.

At what point do you guys pay the import tax? I've brought in two pairs of wheels and haven't paid any...granted the most expensive set was 50k and the other set was only 10k.

^^^ Exactly what im saying, im looking at getting a set of vsxx fairly cheap. See a lot go under 50k lately, after jesses fees and shipping through dhl 95k-100k yen which is around 850-900 bucks. Do I have to pay import taxs or any other fees past what I give jesse?

look at those sizes. That is why they are super cheap. You're going to spend another 2k rebarreling and lipping them. Unless you're putting them on a WRX or something lol.

I have heard that people simply insure for the value they have invested. That way they don't loose their investment. No other concerns..... So I have heard.....

Gets a little rough if you are in Canada so you gotta risk it (within reason). Got an item from buyee few days ago (who don't mark items as lower value) the item alone was 23k yen. Ended up paying $56 at the post office for customs.
