5 speed swap problem

Alright so me and my friend did a 5 speed swap on my ka24de 1994 240sx convertible. Car runs fine, but i'm having issues with the idling. From what I read on this post, its the ECU (I am currently using the auto ecu). So I bought a 5 speed ECU , the number on the back of the ecu is 28, which i believe is for the 5 speed DOHC 240s. I switched the ECU's and the car cranks but wont start. For now i switched back to the auto ecu for daily driving. I have no idea why its not starting with the 5 speed ecu, other people who have done this say all they do is just switch the ECU's. Any clues? Thanks in advance...

You have to set your idle after the swap. There is nothing wrong with the auto ECU, I have used it in my own car for years and the few other cars I have helped swap and never had a single problem.

The car idles fine, 700 to be exact. But let's say I tap the gas on neutral, the car will stay revved around 1500 for a second or two then go back to 700.

That is nothing to worry about, its not going to harm anything so just leave it and enjoy no speed cut and better fuel maps.
