Just got done with the SR swap into my FC. Definately a fun car to drive and just for anyone wanting to do the swap its actually not too difficult. Heres some pics

I know right lol. Had to cut the hood a bit but thats about it. Sr sits in there quite nicely except the shift is a lil to the right and not in the center but It still works out well lol. Only custom stuff i needed was driveshaft, custom crossmember, custom tranny crossmember and exhaust. And i just cut up the original stock sr piping

Great work! Makes me miss my old FC. I bet it's a blast to drive with some actual torque

I would consider this swap . I may be bias because i did swap an sr20 in my old s13. Not a fan of v8 swaps. But a good running rotary is pretty amazing too.

What did you do? motor mounts, tranny mount, and custom drive shaft? Suppose welding skills would be required for the mounts

That's what's up! I just did a KA in my FC, not rich enough for an SR. It really isn't that hard if you're halfway good at fabricating, just motor mounts brackets, tranny crossmember, rear sump oil pan, rear sump pickup tube, and a driveshaft. And of course wiring.

Well lil update on this car.. I finally got some aero but only front bumper and sides and found out both of my hatch latches were broken so it would stay locked if closed. This really annoyed me since i have to climb through this small ass car to the back in between my cage every time just to open the hatch for to get stuff.. Well it annoyed me so much that i said screw it took off the hatch and am now in the process of making it into a truck. Works for me since ill be able to haul a hell of a lot more tires now!

How far forward did you move the steering rack? Have you noticed any bumpsteer at full lock? Im about do start this swap but was worried about modifying oil pan to rear pickup. This would make life much easier.

Alright so i guess ill update u guys. I tried making a build thread on here but its been over a month and it hasnt been approved by a moderator so f*ck it. And as for the guy above I used a xs power mid mount intercooler with some chopped up sr piping with a 90 degree coupler on hot side and if u go for greddy/isis intake i used a 45 degree coupler for the cold side. Oh and for the radiator i went and got a junkyard radiator from god knows what. It had both outlets on the left side so it worked for me. And made some custom brackets and some custom radiator hose and it worked flawlessly. Pics are below of it

So about 4 months ago after taking it to a couple events i spun a bearing and got rod knock on #1 cylinder. I decided to fully build the bottom end which took a couple months. Went with all forged internals, acl race bearings, and arp bolts and also found y i got the rod knock which was from a broken s13 oil pickup. So i went and bought a s14 pickup and all new seals too. here is some pics from it.

Also started doing a truck conversion as stated earlier cause my hatch was broken.. Got maybe like 40% done with it before my engine went kaboom. So i halted it and spent all my time on the engine. But here is some pics it as it is now

[URL=http://s298.photobucket.com/user/assad112000/media/3K63F93I25Ed5F35Hbd47d74dd20b4bd41043_zps3383d411. jpg.html]

Although after seeing this pic and sourcing down the wing on rhdjapan.com i really wanna get a hatch again and get this wing
