15
an sr20det comes stock with 7psi as you already probably know, and the stock turbo is safe up until 15 psi, but that is max until power falls off, with much pressure, you would need better injectors and a better blowoff probably

Daryl...you're a bit wrong. You will have no need to pump up the base fuel pressure with larger injectors and/or more boost.
I ran the stock FPR with my stock setup, and I also ran the stock FPR with a walbro, 740cc injectors, and a GT2871 @ 21psi. An adjustable FPR is used on some cars with upgraded fuel pumps (such as DSM's) since the stock FPR can't bypass enough fuel back to the tank, therefore the fuel will build up excess pressure in the rail, and cause you to run rich regardless. In these cases the aftermarket FPR is being used more for the excess flow out the return port than to adjust base FPR. On most other cars there really is no need to increase base fuel pressure unless you're using it to artificially increase injector size (real sketchy) or for other reasons, which are rare enough that you probably have your own idea (right or not) as to why you're doing it. ~matt

100% correct. You'll be good with just an S-AFC and 550's. Sell the FPR
Where in albany? I'm in Troy for school (go to RPI). I'm actually back in las vegas (home) for the time being, but go back east in january. I take it you're overseas military? ~matt
