s13 please help me.

I have this problem with my 240 that it wants to stall each time i give it gas, have no idea what it could be. Ecu keeps throwing code 12 even though i have changed 2 working ones and 1 one brand new one. Also tried a different ecu light was off, but still same problem. Anyone who can help, please do.

Things I've done

clean iacv
cleaned throttle body
checked continuity on all three cables on the pigtail of maf and the red/black cable that leads to the relay, and made a new ground that lead to the chassis.
checked all vacuum lines, no leaks
timing on point at 18
fuel pressure is at 38 forgot what fsm says it is
new fuel filter
maf read .19 with ignition on, and 1.4 at idle

have been breaking my head for around a month now. video included. please help.

Just a stock maf? Even with continuity doesn't mean everything is ok. Could be a wire hanging on with one strand of wire. Try looking for splits or just make a jumper wire and see if it solves your issue.

It has to be the maf because your car should die when you disconnect the maf while its running, well it does on my s14 anyways. I'd try the jumper its quick and easy to do you don't need to even cut the wires just pull the wire cover back and jump it straight to the ecu.

Have you cleaned your actual air filter? Checked you CTS? how's your battery/alternator? Any loose/dirty grounds? Fuel injectors leaking? Can you smell raw fuel in the cylinder after pulling spark plugs?

I clean the filter on a consistent basis, replaced the coolant temp sensor a not that long ago when my car would start up right away, have checked and cleaned all grounds, changed all the injectors to some newer one I has Latin around, and for the raw fuel I do notice a a real strong rich smell out of exhaust, the timing is on point and have new spark plugs

How about wrong maf sensor for the ECU?

Has it ever run correctly with that combo?

If the engine has good compression, correct ignition timing, and correct fuel quantity per cylinder event, then it will run right.

You hit the gas, what happens with the maf? The maf voltage spikes, the ECU responds by increasing fueling based on a non-linear map that is charted based on MAF voltage. If the maf sends the wrong voltage (incorrect maf, bad maf, airflow breach, bad wiring) then fueling will be wrong also.
