I'm pretty educated on these cars and their drivetrain. These things are huge sleepers with huge power potential with relatively easy mods. They're actually pretty reliable and tough, with the suspension and coilpacks being the headach. A good friend of mine has a s600 and cl600 of the same year. The CL is making close to 1000 ft lbs of torque (tune, intake, and intercoolers) since 2014, he started tuning it with 180k on it it has 205k on it last i heard and still pulling strong. Not many cars can go from 65mph to warp speed without giving up amenities. I'm currently making room for a w220 s600.

Very true. The M275 engine is powerful, smooth, and reliable. A 543hp version of it was used in the Maybach. All the high dollar maintenance parts have been replaced on my car and is ready to go "warp speed"
