WTB S14 Fuel Tank

Hey Guys,

I have a leak in my s14 fuel tank, which I am hearing is quite common. I am looking to purchase a fuel tank off of a part out or if someone has one laying around. SoCal preferably, but willing to pay for shipping to get it to 92663.

Thanks!

Best bet is to buy it new. A used tank is the same age and the plastic gets brittle. And will just crack again in the same exact spot. Atleast a new tank will last another 20 years.

No i actually don't need one... I already have access to some and already have one for spare.....i am just asking about the price..... Actually$500 isn't a bad deal considering it's a brand new from the dealership...... Usually, used tank is already about$100 +shipping cost so people ended up paying close to $200-250 shipped......

Anyways, mine fuel tank came with my 1998 from the factory and still holds the fuel perfect.... So, it is 19 years on the car now.... Cross my fingers so hopefully it doesn't get leak.....

Oh ok yeah. I don't mind buying used parts. It's just the tanks all crack same spot.same exact way. Lol. So for all the people pit there. Best way to go ia new so you don't have to worry about it again. Plus around me used tanks go for 200 to 250 and it could break in 1 month or 1 year. Lol

I don't need one. But check real close on the passenger side where the strap would go. Sometimes you can see the crack slightly. It's funny. They all crack the exact same way. Same shape/line
