2012 240sx/Car New Year Resolutions

Yes, it's that time of year again and I figured I would start up the fun by hearing everyone's 2012 New Year's Resolutions for their 240sx/Project car.

For last year's resolutions (for reference)... http://zilvia.net/f/chat/361947-2011...-your-car.html

How it works, let everyone know what you plan on doing over the course of 12 months with your car:

What Mods do you plan on buying / installing?

What type of Build do you plan?

What time do you want to run? track related?

Track times, events, magazine spots, 12 months on jack stands?

And any other car related goals for this year.

Did you finish your 2011 goals?

Then we can all look back a year from now and see what we've accomplished.

Happy New Year everyone!

Wheels and tires. Drive it in summer and get it ready for bodywork, minor rust repair and possibly tubs/cleaning up of the engine bay for next winter. Also, maybe some side skirts. Maybe.

How it works, let everyone know what you plan on doing over the course of 12 months with your car: Finish my final s13 project.

What Mods do you plan on buying / installing?
Paint, Suspension Arms, New Coils, Origin Streamline Front Bumper, Gp Sides, Gp Rear Bumper, Custom 2.5inch with stock spec resonator, and stock muffler, with some sick tips, reupholster interior.

What type of Build do you plan? Fully Rebuilt Motor(TOP SECRET) daily, and weekend tracker.

What time do you want to run? track related?
just mess around, just fun, drift

Track times, events, magazine spots, 12 months on jack stands?
2months on jackstands, no track times, RO feat.

And any other car related goals for this year.
open a shop maybe by the end of the year

Did you finish your 2011 goals?
just needed paint and would've but no ):

Getting my RB hatch tuned and possibly caged, bring it from DD status to full track car. Tasteful mods for my coupe (just picked up silfront), including s15 or 2871 powered SR with AC, coilovers, and interior stuff.

Need to get another/better job first

- Kouki Tails + Rear Valences... CHECK!

I'm anticipating my clutch to go out this year so I'll probably have to replace that too. ... Flywheel came loose, ended up having to replace clutch as well.
Got most of my list accomplished last year, and I would have had coilovers but I ran into some bills that needed to be paid.

This year a few big projects to be done.

- Coilovers / Toe Rods / Traction Rods.
- S13.5 metal conversion fenders.
- Body work and new paint color.
- New wheels. 17x8.5 / 17x9.5

And for maintenance I'm most likely going to rebuild my transmission. I have a feeling its on its last leg.

Gosh i have a lot of dreams for this year!!!
-First off i plan to get my car tuned this month and hit 300whp and some brembos to stop my car haha
-Next im no baller so i can't afford te37s yet so im planning to stick with some varrstoens 2.2.0 17x9 all around.
-Full kouki conversion!!!
-By summer i would like next my interior done with a recaro drivers seat with s15 passenger and rear seats with a Nardi steering wheel
-As far as suspension all i need is to rebuild my passenger coilover, nice nismo power brace bar and front and rear strut bar and some RUCA.
-Than slap on a nice s15 helical diff and one piece steel driveshaft
-Last i would like to pull my motor and put some 256 cams, retainer kit, 9:1 compression cp pistons, eagle rods and of course arp studs. slap on a bigger turbo leaning towards a gt3071r and a full race twin scroll manifold, re-tune with a power fc and call it a day at 400whp daily like i said i love to dream BIG!!!! With that all said i would like to hit some high 11s on the track will make me happy and i would love for southrn fresh to do an article on my car, that alone will make me go crazy!!!
