s13 brake light problems s13

my brake lights just stopped working out of no where on my fastback..the fuse is good. just put a new switch in, and its still not working. i put a new stopper thing in the pedal arm to. anyone have any idea what the problem might be???

if your brake lights AND dash arent working, then you are blowing fuses in the fuse box near your left foot. either That or the magical white box thats in there is bad...i was in the same situation...found out that the Previous Owner installed a CB Radio and left wires bare and thats what caused mine...

yea new bulbs new everything lol..the tail lights work, all the fuses are good, all of a sudden today the brake lights just stopped working. i dont kno about the dash working i just finished a sr swap the interior is still stripped down..is that white box inside the fuse block?

Try cleaning the grounds on the housing where you put in the brake light bulbs. It's usually a philips head screw that holds the grounds together and corrosion builds up between them. Get a razor blade and clean the ground contact so that it's shiny and put the screw back in. This happened to almost every single S13 that I have owned.

definately the grounds usually they come loose from vibrations, put a bigger screw and clean the grounds with sand paper lika sako said

i agree, mine had that problem and the ground came loose .. took me a while to figure it out.

i was having the same problem, no dash lights, or tail lights, i found some bare wires hanging coverd them up replaced the fuse(blew up about five) and everything is working fine again...
