P1320 causing lean condition?

I've been feeling a slight hesitation when the car is warmed up, so i checked my plugs and they are running very lean. There is a white powder coating the tips of all 4 spark plugs.

I've been running the exact same setup for more than a few years now;
- 8.8CR pistons
- BKR7ES plugs gapped to 0.032"
- GT32 at 12psi
- JWT 50# program with Cobra MAFS and Walbro 255

The only code that is sticking out is a P1320 which is a failure in the primary ignition system. I looked up the resolution in the FSM EC-107, and narrowed it down to a possible short in the condensor/resistor wiring for the distributor system. I honestly don't know what these components do, but I haven't been able to track down the short as of yet. Do these components alter the ignition timing possibly causing the engine to run lean?

I haven't touched anything on the car so I'm guessing it's a failure of some component, possibly the MAFS, but there hasn't been a code thrown for that?

if the plugs aren't firing properly they wont burn all the fuel and the o2 will read a rich mixture and lean it out.
