95 S14 OEM Clutch Install Help

Hey all,

I'm in the middle of a 5-speed swap on my Zenki and am stuck at the clutch install. From my understanding, the pressure plate has to sit completely flush against the flywheel. I've torqued my pressure plate bolts to ~30 ft lbs and I still have just shy of 1/16" clearance between the flywheel and pressure plate. Before I move forward, is this a tight enough clearance or should they sit entirely flush against each other? If they do need to be flush, any advice on getting this right?

Thanks in advance to anyone that could lend some help here

Just solved my own problem! Turns out that the pressure plate bolts are M8x1.25 20mm length (KA24DE engine). I had 25mm bolts and they were definitely bottoming out in the flywheel causing the pressure plate to not sit correctly. Everything checks out great now.
