Exclamation woah BURN , too much voltage ...need ideas!!!!

okay so i bought a new battery , and this one i suppose had way more voltage then it should , when the negative touched it sparked , so this being said i put it on , and then boom my inline fuse to my amp melted off and then i could be wrong but smelt a little light smoke in my car , now my brake lights don't work , my dome lights don't work , my dash lights don't work , my boost gauge works , and my headlights work , my turn signals don't work , [ i did take the battery out and replaced it with the older one]

i am thinking something either

A. got shorted out
b.got fried ,but i checked for any signs of burns and couldn't find any?

maybe the power relay from the battery or somethinngg??

please help !

thanks!

maybe you put the terminals on the wrong side. Check your fuses. All batteries give out 12V its just the difference in CCA thats different among batteries.

Check the voltage on your battery and make sure its giving out 12v and then recheck the fuses under the driver panel, fuses next to the battery tray. If all fails check for continuity in the places where its not getting any power and work your way from there.

all car batteries give 12V CCA is the only difference between batteries CCA "COLD CRANKING AMPS" only intended for intial start up after that has no effect on car!! if you blew your fuse then your SHORTING OUT SOMEWHERE lol nothing works look at the 75A alternator fuse i think you blew that one up S13/S14???

i have a fuse if you want pm me let me know
