Why is it so bad to drift at the water tower? not that i will be drifting there. just curious.

there's been multiple crashes / rollovers / cars TOTALLED there.. it's a really fast downhill sweeper into a weird oblong chicane and if you take the wrong line, you get thrown up into this gnarly berm and theres a 90% chance you will total / roll ... theres pics from ASB2 of this dude in a S14 that totalled there. his 1st lap out he got all twisted and cased it HARD..

they are good your first couple runs to get the feel, but save that rubber for the 2nd corner on the top.

Here is a little video of my SOHC. And I drifted the bottom corner just cause I was filming. Top corner is a 3rd gear entry with ebrak, to 2nd gear downshift, clutch lock, the feather it around. Flick the car back and floor 2nd, when its about to catch again, ebrake and hold it, and hold it, and hold it, and floor it!

the spin out is right after a 3rd gear upshift with to much angle.

only thing I do different is clutch kick into the top corner while at top of 2nd

Yeah, think i need to try that, so I can hold that drift just a litttle longer. I hate haveing to drag the ebrake for so long. Jeff(turns101) gave me some advice on pressure and suspension set up for low HP.



And Jon, I was thinking of trying this event. But Im not drifting till the cars back in order, turbo'd and I got a daily.

eee a bimmers gonna be there.. had to deliver a stock 328 to temecula and used elfin forest to get east from encinitas. that stock bimmer took the mountain faster than my 240 could ever want to go... nasty. hopefully i can get an ok from my boss before the spots fill up -_-

and holy crap totally overlooked the fact that 335's are 3.5 liter twin turbos -_- the turbos on those are tiny but the car is still so fly
