Hey I've been considering doing a basic rebuild sometime in then near future. I was going to upgrade cams, fuel pump, bigger injectors, Z32 fuel filter, metal headgasket of some sort, clevite bearings, ARP studs, and an Enthalpy-RS tune.

Also possibly forged pistons and rods because I'm probably going to want to go with a turbo setup in the future when I get bored of N/A. Since this is my daily as well I'm looking for reliability in the long run. I'd rather save a few extra bucks and delay the rebuild process to ensure my motor is ready to take a little abuse given the proper maintenance. As opposed to ending up pulling it again a few months down the line because I melted a hole in a piston.

My question as of now is will the KA Jim Wolf adjustable cam timing gear work with any cams? (i.e. Crower or Kelford) Or would I have to run the JWT cams specifically?

Also, if anyone wants to give a first timer some helpful advice I'd appreciate it.
