If you can source an RB25 trans easier over there they bolt to a KA if you oval two holes, no other mods needed.

thanks, Im all new to KA engine so didnt know that. I know there is rb24 trans laying around.
Did you get the front suspension from tdp?

fixing problems here and there, needs money to make any big moves forward, but i'm not complaining...i believe in about a year i will dismantle it totally, to paint, and soundproof it. until then, i'm gathering components for the type X kit (only bumper and sideskirts missing now) after that im thinking of switching to AEM infinity ecu.

Wheels are on backwards. The air should be ducted from the under side of the car to the rotors then it exits out of the wheels. Not in.

Actually I was lucky to find one this cheap, it was for about 180 £ / 300 $
They were never offered on EU market so its really hard to find one. already been offered triple the amount from another norwegian guy for the engine, unseen. Just came back from denamrk as we speak from picking it up!

In the old pic the wheels were just test mounted, as you can see still stickers on them.

Need to start doing more to this project! been lazy lately, and my daily drive Audi A6 died from oil hazard so time and money going into it.

Starket is getting sequential gearbox into it, also made a nice frontsplitter for air in front of the car in clear plastic and aluminum.

question:

SR20 gearbox fits KA24 if you put a OEM KA24 bellhousing onto the transmission?

I got a spec clutch with the KA24DE i bought, does that fit CA 18 or RB20?
if not i dont think i can sell it here in Norway as noonw have KA in europe. Would be a shame to throw it away

Fits the CA if you swap out a dowel pin in the flywheel. Minor work with a pair of pliers.

RB20 is a larger flywheel.

KA24DE is for the little red Starlet timeattack car I got.


SR20 BTCC is a legendary engine so I would not put that away hehe. The SR20 is done by the way

Hey nice build keep up the good work I just joined after reading all 10 pages of this. Quite educational I must say I'm hoping to get my s14a Silvia back on road next year.
