comming from a 240 owner here, your honestly better off with a civic. RWD is too dangerous to drive, and the cars lines are terrible in comparison to the show stopping lines of the civic.

you all make valid points about the shortcomings of the 240..but i must say i am surprised..i would have expected much more loyalty from this board...hmm...i guess i was mistaken about the community i had thought i perceived when joining this board..

My Late Moms 97 Geo Metro Rocks! You can drive all the way from South Florida to Atlanta for less than 15 dollars on gas and that Maxwell house can on the exaust pipe is killer. All it nees is some type R stickers and it will be da bomb.

Since Suzuki builds the motor, think about it, they build fast bikes too...so you know since it is Suzuki, it has to be bad a$$. Supposed to have a drag coef. of 0.30 as well! Tires cost less than 20 dollars each!

Yea, the only reason we have 240's is so our hands stay dirty and greasy (they are always needing work) and we can brag to the chicks that we are Honda mechanics.

but they REALLY go nuts when i say its a ford probe!

yea..i wish i had a civic but i dont =[. i plan on doing a civic Type R front end conversion. and some sort of taillight conversion as well..which one guys!? RSX tails or Civic tails!?!? i cant decide help!

but anyways, cars 96 and 97 are mechanically identical. go for the one you like, i love the look of the 97-98, but it isnt worth the money to change it, i love the way my 95 looks too
