Thomas Knight Supercharger kit for KA24DE - SOLD!!!!

SOLD!!!!!!!

Those of you who frequent KA-T.org may recognize my name. I had the supercharged KA for 5 years.

Up for sale is my Thomas Knight supercharger kit that I purchased from user blacks13coupe in 2011. He ran it with a JWT ECU and I believe made 220whp. This was with a stock throttle body and some pretty restrictive intake piping. It was 2" piping but the elbows were very thick cast pieces which had an ID of around 1.75 inches.

The first thing I did was remove the intake piping and install mandrel bent 3" piping along with a 80mm throttle body. You can see the entire build here: http://www.ka-t.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=49060

On the 2.3" (13-14 psi) pulley, I made 238.8 whp on 93 octane + water/meth injection. On E85, I made 264.8 whp. (See dyno sheet below). This was all street-tuned by myself and I did NOT spend any time tuning while on the dyno. I just made 3 runs to see where it was at. Based on what I have seen on other people's supercharger setups, I believe that a more experienced tuner could get 240-250 whp (@ 10 psi) on pump gas and close to 300 whp on E85 (@ 14 psi).

I just spent the last two days going over everything and cleaning/polishing most of the aluminum parts which had lost their luster.

The bad news is that the supercharger itself is shot. The rotors themselves had actually been making contact with the front of the housing and caused excessive wear and I'm certain that it's done.
The good news is that everything is shined up and looking nice and this is a pretty complete kit. All you would need to add is a stock upper intake manifold and an Eaton M62 supercharger from a Nissan Xterra and you're set.

The kit includes:

1. Thomas Knight adapter plate, which has been completely polished even better than it was when I had it on my car
2. 3" polished intake piping with 1/2" hose barbs on both the pre-supercharger and post-supercharger pipes for IACV/AAC (idle control)
3. 80mm throttle body with custom throttle cable bracket and a bracket for mounting the throttle body to the S14 shock tower
4. modified OEM Nissan TPS sensor. This is a fairly new sensor and was purchased at the time that I installed the kit
6. Mounting plate and all tubing for IACV/AAC valves (OEM S14 IACV/AAC valves not included)
7. Thomas Knight alternator bracket with pulley
8. Two supercharger belts: 1.) the one I was using when I removed the kit, which still has plenty of life left in it, and 2.) a brand new, unused belt. I used a 125A Nissan Quest alternator and this size belt was the perfect size.
9. 3" silicon coupler for connecting the upper and lower tubing together. Also a 3.5" to 3" coupler for the throttle body to intake piping/filter
10. T-bolt clamps for both couplers
11. Pulley Boys quick change pulley kit with both a 2.5" (12 psi, polished): http://www.pulleyboys.com/store/prod...&cat=45&page=1
12. Pulley Boys 2.3" (14 psi, black anodized) pulley: http://www.pulleyboys.com/store/prod...&cat=45&page=1
13. Pulley Boys M62 pulley puller/installer for removing the stock pulley and installing the quick-change hub: http://www.pulleyboys.com/store/prod...9&cat=2&page=1. The only difference with my puller is that it's black, not silver like on their site (you can see it in the bottom of the pics)
14. All bolts/hardware needed

Price is $900 + buyer pays shipping for everything here. If you don't want the pulleys, quick change hub, puller/installer, it's $750 + buyer pays shipping

Pics of everything included (aside from a few hoses and throttle cable bracket

DYNO SHEET

Having just switched to turbo, I absolutely miss the instant boost of the supercharger setup. Great for a track/autocross car.

One of the ballers on here will buy this kit.
I wish I could afford it just to have the super charger nostalgia.
