S14 1JZ swap dakota digital install

I saw the thread on the s13 writeup for the DD install. Has anyone installed the dakota digital box with the r154 transmission in the s14? Instructions are still unclear for me, thanks

I wrote the thread on using these with an s13, the whole process is the same for the s14. I even put all of the Toyota part numbers for the connectors and wiriing.

I saw that, most helpful thread ive seen so far. I just didnt see any specific pictures on wiring exactly, where do you wire it in the cluster? and is the speed sensor on the r154 accesible from removing the shifter trim?

No, it's fairly low on the side of the transmission, you have to get under the car. As for the wiring everything on the Dakota box will be new wiring (power and ground) with the exception of the signal going to the cluster, you just need to figure out what color the speed signal is for your car.
