The Gorilla's will fit in the FN's bore. I don't know if you will bottom them out on the extended studs. Is there a reason you need extended studs?

Did you get an alignment to make sure your Caster is the same or at least equal on both sides?

You will notice speed-bumps and potholes a lot more because there is no rubber bushing to absorb the pull on the rod from the wheel hitting the object. The creaking is probably just the new bearings setting. But a cracking noise isn't good. Are the rod ends centered in the bearing?

Also, inspect the TC rod brackets that bolt to the core support and frame. The original owner of my car liked to park on curbs so they were bent and replacing them got rid of the squeaking sound.

I have seen some cars with small pipe as radiator hoses instead of the full hose, is there an advantage for that or is it just for looks???

For a 96 s14 with ka not running or smogged or tagged and salvaged title .. but hell give me a kouki bumper and 400 on top... Is it a good trade????? Second I'm droping in a Sr in the s14 ASAP need all oil gaskets and fuel pump where's the cheapest place I can get these? Thanks
PROS:
silvia front end
coils
stage 3 clutch
smogged tagged

CONS:
96 s14
not running or smogged or tagged and salvaged title

How is that even a question? Just the fact that your going from a clean title running smogged tagged car to the polar opposite is enough of a reason. Just SR the S13 and buy a clean title cheap s14 down the road.

Just take my word for it, stick with the cleanest car possible. Unless your looking for a project. Then still keep the s13 and build a project on the side.

Actually I questioned the ends of the tc rods being centered now because when I was adjusting them to the same size as the original ones, the end where the bearing is would move. I'll try to post pictures up.

The brackets are slightly bent on the driver side but I don't think its bad enough to affect the tc rods.

As for the alignment. I haven't gotten it done yet. But I did get it checked out and the caster seemed pretty even.

S15 complete Subframe and Rear end - Drop in S14?

Ok..seen mostly threads on fitting it to a S13 (which that can clearly be done) with the Misaligned Bushings Stance makes...but
Will it fit in a S14 with No modifications to Drive shaft (same OEM shaft) and 5speed 13SR Trans??

This will be a Complete Rear end with pumpkin/HLSD,axles,all the Arms etc?
Any Confirmation?
Everyone seems to say "its the same"

Need to know ASAP.

Moonface Coilovers

so i am about to order some coilovers finally and ive decided i want a set of moonfaces. they have two coilover types damper d style and damper g style, i cant go to their homepage for some reason and ive searched around and cant find what im looking for. what i want to know is what is the difference in spring rate and dampening between the two. also if anyone is currently using them how well they like them and if theyd recommend them, if not what coilover do you recommend for the same price range?

theyre on nengun.com theyve been around for a while and have been rigorously tested on the track and streets of japan. there are a few threads on here about them but nothing showing the spring rate and dampening.

Has anyone used something like this?

It's an 80mm Apexi Exhaust Control Valve. I recently purchased an Isis 4" dual straight pipe and I expected it to be loud, but I was wondering if this would be worth it? Just to quite it down during night times and whenever it is needed. Also, where does it install? In between the cat/test pipe and the exhaust?

Thanks!

Can you explain a little better. doesnt sound like something you should drive on. And any driveline/tranny shop should be able to fix it.

Search dude, seriously.

Plenty of people us them and all the questions you just asked are EASILY answered by the apexi website. Not to mention numerous videos of it installed on youtube.

Imagine that....... the Apexi site even has installation instructions.

That's the first thing I do, before I ask questions. I have seen everything you are talking about. I was just wondering if more s-chassis individuals have experience with them. I appreciate it, but I'm not one to ignorantly ask questions.

There is no difference between them. Both parts were made in japan, so technicaly the usdm one is jdm. Both are the exact same clutch type VLSD
