So I need help my s13 won't turn over its a single cam , the battery is new and also the starter it's most likely electrical but where do I start
But it will only start if I pop the clutch

Clutch switch on pedal, ignition switch.
If you get to the back of the cylinder, try pressing on the wires, and clutch, While turning the key to start.
Or just replace the switch all together.

Sounds like could be the switch or starter...
