I had the paperwork on here I actually went through a phase where I decided not to sell it so I took my personal information down

And yes it's insured as a 2000 Silvia and registered also as a Silvia to original Japanese vins and year 2000. Same as my old chaser and all my other previous cars I've owned over the last few years.

I'll add it back up tomorrow

I think it's a dumb rule. The paper work should always be shared privately to serious buyers only. 99% of the people here who comment about needing to post documents have zero interest or funds to make the purchase anyway.

2 day later bump

Significantly lowered my price and set a few buy options, car is going for a full paint job wet sand and buff in 2 weeks

Current paint is basically 10/10 I just rather paint the whole car than pay about the same to blend in half of the car.

It's just good for any buyer to know that their car is liable to be seized.

http://www.motorauthority.com/news/1...south-carolina

It still happens. Today. To real people. It doesn't matter what insurance you have or what your flordia title says on it. Feds don't give a damn.

Are there any records of any Grey market car that was seized from someone who was not

A. In the middle of importing it (smuggling)
B. Vin Swapping it (fraud)
C. not state titled yet (Double negative grammar intentional).

It seems all the grey market seizures were from the people who were trying to make money or fake the funk, vs 2nd+ owners, or already state titled

Um...no, it's quite different. It's like having 25k worth of it laying around in your home and someone tips off the FBI. Except, in this case, someone tips off a hungry ICE agent and they come-a-knockin. Isn't worth the possible jail time and lost money to look cool.

Calm down. You're not going to jail unless you're actively involved in fraud - either forging documents or actively walking people through how to get these cars titled in any way. (that's how they got the dude with the yellow R33 from the first F&F)

To the person before who asked about cars being seized, the most common seizure is through an insurance claim. Why, you might ask? Well, most companies want to reject a claim, for whatever reason they can find. The car not being a federally legal car happens to be a valid reason! This is especially true in cases with injury, where cars are not up to safety standards set by the gumbment. It all gets reported to ICE and grats. Should've paid cash for your fender bender or have a really good umbrella policy for when that person you hit sues your ass after your insurance denies the claim and your car gets cubed.

Whats not also for him to decide is the "not worth having 25k laying around"

IDK whats up with all these import experts lately, everyone knows this is a grey market car, case closed, move along this is a sale post not a discussion post about grey markets.

If you insist on continuing and flooding my thread with your worthless comments make a topic in the general discussion category and get off my stuff, I dont purchase things to make you happy or to make you approve of what I do.

Its simple really. Two buyers

1) Ones that know and buy anyways
2) Ones that are ignorant to the fact and buy anyways

Either way, it's the buyers decision. For everyone commenting here, it's not your money OR CAR so why the fuck do you care so much?!?!

Jesus..............and I am sure all the folks commenting don't even have the money to put gas in a grey market car much less the car itself.

Let the man sell his car. This is not the first grey market car that has been sold in FL and it sure as hell won't be the last!

GLWS Nissan!

This seems like an astronomical amount of effort for a car that you're selling that already has perfectly good paint.

Financial responsibility doesn't really go hand-in-hand with the s-chassis community lol. I know wayyyy to many high-dollar builds done on credit cards and parents' bank accounts/credit.
