I think he means that somewhere within the rules of 'posting a for sale thread' you must include a price.

Although, if its strictly up 'for trade' then there wouldn't be a need for a price.... but I don't think thats the case here seeing that the OP's title clearly reads '...for sale or trade.'

OP: I think others here are asking for a # to gauge whether their trade is of equal value.

Personally I think it would probably sell for a couple of grand under what you've put into it. A lot of guys here don't realize that with these older Z's comes more work involved body-wise. Most of them have a rust that needs to be taken care of before putting any kind of power plant into it.

Either way... Its a super clean looking Z. I love the satin/matte paint. Good luck with your trade/sale.

Thanks for all the awesome positive comments ! Its really appreciated, im glad there is people out there that like my car. I have had a large amount of trade offers and Im still trying to figure out what would be an equal trade. im setting the for sale price at 10k. After researching around the web I have found that 10k is pretty reasonable considering I have seen stock un restored/built 1970 240z's go for around 7k.

In a good economy I would say yes, 13-15k would be more on par for what its worth, but in this economy id be lucky to get 10k. Thats just the reality.

Smart thinking, and very nice car.

If I could get rid of a couple cars, I would be on this immediately. The parts list is so nice, almost perfect. Would be such a fun car, and not many cars can beat the look of a nice Z.
