hey peeps , i was wondering if there is a way to swap out the internal coil distributor on my s14 for a external setup . because i want to upgrade the ignition , but it seems very limited with the internal coil . i have done denso plugs , and accel 8mm wires , and dont know what else to do . any ideas ?

Swap to an S13 KA setup...you'll need distributor, ext coil, and the igniter (?) IIRC, with the associated plugs off the donor car.

Oh...and unless you have ignition issues now (high HP turbo, etc...) then you DO NOT need to upgrade!

The stock S14 ignition system is quite good, and you'll be wasting $$$ if you're upgrading it in an N/A application.
