okay i installed all the piping n then there was an extra hose, ( i did this all without instructions) so i put a breather filter on the pipe at the base of this hose, next i started the car and it shut off, so i then put that pipe to the intake piping, and put the breather on the pipe on the engine block, is this what we are supposed to do when installing a cai? cuz the car runs this way fine, and the intake is doing well even in 82 degree heat, also, is there a break in period for the intake?

oh and i guess its not a cai its just really what should be called an air intake lol

sigh
i am lost
so here is how it goes
the big fat one goes to the valve cover
the second biggest goes on the hose that u took of as the secondbiggest
then the smallest fit on the smallest
it any of those dont fit then get a new adapter
also hoses might not be long enough so u might need new ones

82 degree heat? &nbsp;Lucky! &nbsp;It's been over 100 here almost all week! &nbsp;82 is what our &quot;low's&quot; have been!<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

Can you tell any difference in the performance since you put the intake on?

well i already had the filter but there is better throttle response now with the entire system, and it drives better, for some odd reason the auto tranny shifts smoother, and the performance is definately there i can feel a kick @ as low as 2000 rpm, and it difinately kicks in at about 3500 - 4000
