Jdm s14 Kouki wing install question

Hey guys. Just picked up an oem kouki wing. Came with 2 bolts (one on each side)
The 2 bolts line up perfect on the holes from the se wing.
I need to cover the other 2 up. But do I just 3m double
Side tape the rest? Or how did you guys do it?

Thanks In advance

Why wouldn't it be safe? Just make sure everything is tight. It probably came with a little rubber piece originally, but you could use the tape in its place

I used double sided tape on the front bottom portion of the kouki wing. Then used two nuts for the two bolts. I tightened the nuts pretty good. Haven't had any problems yet.

Okay thanks guys.
I only have one bolt on each side. Which lines perfect with the holes from the se wing.
I was just trying to make sure the double side tape would do the job too.. I don't want almost $300 bucks flying out on the free way! Lol

make sure to clean the mounting surfaces well (top of trunk and bottom of wing) before applying tape. if it's full of dirt, it will just stick to the dirt and not the wing/trunk.

Heres what i did dude. drilled holes and used some 3m tape! still on perfect!

The first step was to make a template of the base plate:

Then placed the templates on the boot measuring both sides to make sure if would fit perfectly in the middle.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

and then the drilling began, started off by doing 8mm holes then 10mm...took a bit of fiddling around but managed to get it sitting perfectly on the boot. Secured it using 2 bolts and covered the base plates with some double-sided sticky tape.

Here is the finished result which I am very pleased with and love the wing
