**New Item for the S13 Hatch** Carbon Creations Fulvius Rear Diffuser
A diffuser, in an automotive context, is a shaped section of the car underbody which improves the car's aerodynamic properties by enhancing the transition between the high-velocity airflow underneath the car and the much slower freestream airflow of the ambient atmosphere. It works by providing a space for the underbody airflow to decelerate and expand so that it does not cause excessive flow separation and drag, by providing a degree of "wake infill". The diffuser itself accelerates the flow in front of it, which helps generate downforce.

Can this be used in conjunction with aftermarket bumpers? I would think no unless it was modified which wouldnt be to hard from the look of the design, which is very nice!

completely useless, wtf are you defusing?
if you ACTUALLY care about aerodynamics/ fluid dynamics, this is 93% useless on many levels. some reading: New Maxi Diffuser/tunnel - Nissan Road Racing Forums for hardparking points its cool tho, spend away.

Don't flame too hard.... this piece by itself is pretty useless, but if you flat bottomed and tunneled to the defuser, it will work fine....

if you do what you mentioned, it would be decent, but a better one could be home made; but unless youre good with CF, it would look as good (some would argue, i like the home made look better personally.)
