FS/FT 1995 Miata TURBOCHARGED Vert. NEW ENGINE!!!
PLEASE READ ALL THE WAY TO THE BOTTOM BEFORE CONTACTING ME.
Price is or best offer. Don't like the price? MAKE AN OFFER. If it's not questions or offers about my car, PLEASE keep unneeded talk/complaints off my thread! Thanks! I have for sale a manual 1995 MX-5 1.8L turbo'd currently running on 10 PSI of boost pushing about 260whp on a completely rebuilt motor. Only 2k on engine! (I have the paperwork/receipts). 110k on the body. CLEAN title. PULLS VERY HARD SLIDES SIDEWAYS SUPER EASY. Now onto the car specs: Engine: -Rebuilt 1.8L motor with only 2k miles -Flyin Miata II Turbo Kit with stand alone HydraNemesis programmable ECU ($5,300) -Engine is bored .20 over -550cc RC Injectors -Wiseco Forged Pistons -Mishimoto radiator -Flyin Miata front mount intercooler -Solid graphite motor mounts (no engine play, quicker throttle response) Drivetrain: -ACT Stage II high performance racing clutch -Welded diff -Stock tranny -Aftermarket 16 inch rims -BRAND NEW TIRES ALL AROUND Fuel System: -Walbro 255 fuel pump -Tuned on 91 Octane pump gas Interior: -Basically stock -Sparco Race steering wheel with Sparco HUB -Greddy Profec B Spec II Boost Controller -Flyin Miata Boost Gauge -Race pedals Cons: -Pretty much all cosmetic cons. -Few small scratches -Interior could use some tlc (unless drift/track car then interior doesn't matter ) -Small drill holes from the spoiler I removed on the trunk the original owner had installed -No radio -No p/s -Idles high but took it to a shop and said its completely fine just the computer making up for the bigger injectors -VERY loud inside the car because of the motor mounts, but when the top is down no problem. This car can be a daily driver, but it would be better off being a track/drift car since all the hard engine work is done. I'm in NO hurry to sell this but price is OR BEST OFFER. I'd REALLY like to trade for a 240sx S13 or S14 maybe an RX7 or RX8, BMW, but if the right offer comes around I'll sell for $7k OBO. There has been over $10k into the engine alone. I have TONS of receipts and paperwork for all mods and an instruction manual for the boost controller. ALSO I have spare/replacement parts like original fenders, extra dash cluster, etc. I AM WILLING travel/work with shipping the car for the right cash offer/trade. If you have any questions, would like more specific pics, or would like to come see the car, please call or text Nathan anytime at 605-641-1888 Price is NEGOTIABLE. Thanks for looking! I have MORE pictures I can email/text to you just ask! Last edited by JDM_Import; 05-13-2013 at 09:00 PM.. |

i wouldn't call a style bar a "roll bar"
nice engine/turbo setup, but there's no way you're going to get 7k for that thing. too much rice.

7k is just a starting figure. Based on the fact of how much money has been put into it and how much hp it's pushing to the wheels. Plus, I see stock Miata's sellin for $5-6k so I think 7 isn't too bad of a price

I was searching around for a miata locally a while ago. The only problem is I refuse to get jewed on a deal. Stock NA miatas do NOT go for 5-6k.
I can't see the pictures on this yet but I'm assuming it's the same one that's posted on craigslist right now. Once I get home I'll PM you if I'm interested. |

Thanks Tubasteve1 I will have to try that website I have heard of it but never tried it.
Peach, I have seen plenty of MX5s around SoDak being asked for 5k with no engine mods. People really don't understand how much money is in a car unless the title is in their name. If you want to take a test drive I will be more than happy to let you feel what 260hp feels like in a 2000lbs car. Thanks for the bumps guys! |

another FINE example of people on Zilvia thinking they know EVERYTHING about ANYTHING dealing with cars. Just because you wouldn't pay my asking price doesn't mean someone else won't. But I do appreciate your input and the free bump

Go to Flyin' Miata 1 800 FLY MX5s and look up what the Turbo II kit with the Hyrdanemesis ECU and Garrett turbo costs. Exactly, $5,300 + shipping. A completely rebuilt motor from top to bottom wasnt cheap either, I'll have to look at the receipts for that one. Not to mentio the pistons, headers, and racing clutch? For real know your shit before you bash on someone else's work. Go hate on someone else's car leave this thread to the people who are actually interested and not being hypocritical to saying they know a thing or two about building cars and their costs. |

Says a person 3 years older than me? Damn some peoples ignorance is almost just amusing.
Anyways, UPDATE: Possible local sale pending. The dude is gonna come for a test drive today, and see what he can get for a loan from the bank. |

I think this is a great deal. Im currently building a turbo miata and have been modifying miatas for about 6 years now and my dad has been for the last 15 years and I can tell anyone that this is a great deal. All the expensive stuff is done if he has forged rods this motor will handle as much boost and tq you could possible throw at it and easily the full potential of the turbo on there. 260whp at 10psi is outstanding and $7k is a very fair asking price considering you may be talked down to $6.5 k that ECU alone is $2k. The only problems I see (center console, wheels, tailights) are cheap easy fixes compared to what's already been done and that's the most reliable turbo setup on the market from a company with the best support for miatas than any other company. GLWS man if I had the money id but it
