Alrighty guys quick question: I found a deal on some 18x8.5 +30 wheels I couldn't pass up. I've looked on rimtuck and in the wheel-whore threads without much luck. Just looking for some suggested tire sizes (Wheels are a square set up.) Spacer(s) if any?
I don't mind running a little stretch but nothing super agressive. Wheels will be going on my 95 zenki. Car has FF type 2 coils, RUCA, rolled fenders, car is low but not on it's nuts... Thanks in advance! |

Thanks for the quick reply. I'll continue looking around to see what else I can find for optimal spacer sizes. They are narrow, but not a deal breaker for me... Thanks again

Just got a sweet deal on some new Work d9r’s in 18x10.5 et15 flavour. Will the fronts work with a fender roll and a small slip on to clear th coilover?
Also was going to attempt to put my pair of 225/40/18 ad08’s on the front. Anyone stretched these before? |

I ran 18x8.5 +35 w/ 235/40R18 in the front with about 10mm to the rolled fender. So you could run the same tire size with about 5mm clearance. Or even go up to a 245/40. Those would give you a meaty fitment. If you want to go with the stretched camber look, go with the 205/40 (215 won't be enough). But you'll need 15-30mm spacers, since 18x8.5 +35 is not very aggressive and will look very sunken with those small, stretched tires and no spacers. That will fit with a moderate pull of the front and rear fenders. |

So I just got my 5 lug hubs today, waiting on brake stuff before I put em on, and have a set of brand new 5 lug wheels getting powdered right now and was wondering what tire sizes you guys reccomend for the wheel sizes I got
Wheels are Front - 18x9+25 iirc Rear - 18x10.5+20 On my other car ive got 18x8 in the front wrapped in 205/40/18 And 18x9 in the rear wrapped in 215/40/18 The 215/40 on the 9 is somewhat stretched so was thinking about doing a 215/35 or 215/40 on the fronts of my s13 and possibly 225/40 or 225/35 on the 10.5 My rear fenders are rolled & pulled/flared and the fronts are rolled flat, car has ksport coils and I just put on brand new adjustable rear camber arms and brand new rear adjustable toe rods so I can dial in fitment as needed. Im not looking for super crazy stretch on rubber bands, but I do want the rears somewhat stretched and rounded off so it sits nicely under the pulled quarter. Worst case im prepared to buy and install fender flares or rear overs if need be but would prefer to avoid it if possible. Any suggestions or pictures with similar fitment? I havent had time to go through the thread and look yet but plan to. Any help would be greatly appreciated |

Sup goys, I'm looking into a set of 17 x 9 +35mm offset Gramlight 57s all around. Planning on 215-225 in the front and 235-245 in the rears, whichever tire widths work out best. Was wondering if there'd theoretically be any clearence issues on a stockbody s13 fastback w/ s13 silvia front (not a zilvia favorite). I'm trying to avoid rolling/pulling the fenders so if +35mm dont cut it i could opt for +22mm. Thanks

+35 will fit in the rear, but might hit the coil overs in the front.
+35 is also a pretty weak offset. especially in the front. and the 215 would look terrible all sunken. you can fit +22 and decent tires all around, but at a higher ride height. so +35 might be better for you if you're really low. I personally would run the +22 with 235/40 or 245/40 all around and raise the car up a bit. Or do +22 in the front with 235 and +35 in the rear with 245/255. |

Hey guys,
I have a S13 hatch. I have 18x8.5 +35 wheels (not mounted), what size tire should I run? And would this fit flushed or would it poke? I’m fine with rolling fender. Right now I’m slammed on stock se wheels with pbm coils, but I’m fine with raising it. |

I used to run 18x8.5 +35 w/ 235/40R18 on the front of my S13. They needed a 3mm spacer to just barely clear my coilovers, and were sunken in about 10-20mm from the fender.
So I would run at least a 235. But a 245 or 255 would be better. And at least a 10mm spacer. If you want poke, you'd need a stretched tire like a 205 or 215 and large spacer, like 20+mm. |

Will Work O disk (vskf specifically) clear S13 stock brakes?
Also, can someone confirm that work vskf o disk spokes have less of a curve to them then a/r disk? Thanks!

As for fronts I do not know. I do know that the spokes between 0 disc and A disc are actually the same, Just the rear mounting pad thickness is much thinner on the 0 disc compared to A. Like if you mounted a lug nut on an A disc the lug would sit more in the lug pocket with less lug exposed and with an 0 disc there is very minimal of a pocket for the lug to sit in so its pretty much all exposed. I hope that makes sense. |

Yes, 245/40R18 is a common size. There's also the less common 245/35R18. |

I'm a little embarrassed to make this post, but hell this is a the wheel fitment questions thread, so here goes. Currently starting the build on my car and need the wheel gurus to help me out. It's an 89 hatch, and I will be running the Spirit Rei kit, which runs 40mm fenders up front and 65mm out back. My brakes are STI Brembo's front and back. I will be on air suspension, running D2 air struts. The owner of Spirit Rei is running 18x10 -3 in the front and 18x11.5 -14 in the rear, which sits quite nicely. Here is the link, showing the fitment and the build: http://www.stancenation.com/2014/04/...-nissan-180sx/
So, here's what I need help with; I'm wondering if I can get more aggressive on my fitment, without running an extreme amount of camber, and without the use of spacers. Also, I don't want to run extremely stretched out tires, as I like the look of some decent meat on my wheels, just adds to the aggressiveness imo. I know I'm being picky as hell, but I would appreciate any input you guys may have. |

Hey guys,
Would 18x9.5 +22 (245/40/18) clear the front? I have a feeling it will be close to the coilovers. I have 12mm front fenders so I can get spacers, but just wanted to know if I could get away without using spacers. Thanks!

It'll be close. It depends on the coilover, some lower brackets have more clearance that others. Tell us what coilovers you have, that will help get you an answer.

revisited the wheel fitment picture thread recently and went through a couple hundred pages (lots of dead pics) and i'm hooked again. went out and got some SSR's that were well-priced and local and test fit the rears on my S14 today.
18x10.5 +30 (SL) 235/40 Bridgestone Potenza Sports i don't like how much rear camber or stretch you need for your typical 10.5 +12 sized wheel to fit under an un-pulled fender so i figured this size would give me the look i want. low, wide and flush with minimal rear camber and tire stretch. it's almost exactly what i wanted. i have, however, ran into a few clearance issues. i "notched" my frame for ruca clearance when i put in subframe risers but it's still hitting, actually it's pretty much resting on the ruca when the wheels are on the ground. i guess i could make a little more room by bending the metal back the other way but i plan on lowering it more so it may not be enough. they are old fortune auto ruca and i may need something else. any ideas? i know they make bent toe rods for more clearance, but what about ruca's? also, the wheel is super fucking close to the rLca. like, i can't fit a finger between the two. should i worry about that? does that distance ever change when driving, under compression, etc? i bought a 5mm slip on spacer if i need it. |

I have veodoo 13 and gk tech ruca my gk tech are not the newest ones but both have clearance issues and both need the frame notched for the low life. I have found u gain more clearance when they are flipped like other have said. It's still damn close like to cunt hairs. The newest GK tech is supposed to be better but I have yet to seen one in person
