Z32 NA dual mafs intake? need feedback

this is for a 95 NA street car.

Some overview of my "project"
I plan to keep this car for as long as possible, and it is my daily driver. My overall goal with the car is to increase the gas mileage as much as possible. So far i have a consistent 24mpg after a few modifications/bolt ons/and chassis lightening.

I'm thinking about changing up the intake to be as efficient as possible but i'm not sure if its worth it money wise or if it will actually make a real difference. To do this i need to get a Selin dual mafs translator, larger throttle bodies from Z1, custom K&N filter, two venturi funnels 6"in to 3"out, and larger diameter and shorter intake pipes. I drew a sketch to show what i'm talking about.

I'm looking for constructive criticism please, let me know what you think

great idea. going the dual intake route is usually for the higher hp turbo. you can actually just increase airflow by replacing the stock airbox with a pop charger.

If you are dead set on this set up, you should know that with a little modification you can get 90-92 nissan stanza TBs that are the same size as Z1. i got two from the junk yard for $50. it really opened up the top end of my TTz. but to be honest for them money your looking to spend on that setup which probably wont get you where you want to be in terms of MPGs you can get a $1,200 4cyl beater that will get you 35mpg's all day long. then park the z and TT the thing.

i am in the process of running something similar on my z32 vg30de. currently have the upgraded TBs and had the upper and lower plenum extrude honed. I am in the process of fabbing custom 2/5" intake piping, to dual intakes, and I guess i am going to run the selin kit, even though i feel it is on the steep side for what it does. the main question here is tuning, and getting the A/F correct after these mods. i am about half way through this build, so no tuning done as of yet.
