If the LeBrons somehow manage to fail to do what I have made myself concede that they will this year, there should be a massive exodus, starting with Mike Brown and if not him Danny Ferry.
Last year, Brown was simply outcoached by Van Gundy and it appears that it is happening again with Doc Rivers. With a legitimate 25 and 8 player in Jamison, having similar enough a skillset to LeBron, the injured superstar should be preserved until it is time to work his magic... And that is the problem. "waiting on him to work his magic" commences from the opening tip and throughout, because Mike Brown is a TERRIBLE coach. To his credit, LeBron shoulders responsibility in defeat, even if he is less than gracious in it. Although, however, his treatment of ball boys in the Chicago series offers better support for him being a douche than his performance on the floor refutes it. Now, if Cleveland wins, LeBron has a reason to stay, owing to the money AND remaining a contender. But that is where it will get hairy... Shaq will want a bigger payday than he deserves, compared to his contributions, and Jamison will DESERVE a handsome payday as he has played to this point. Paying all of them will put them WAY deeper into the luxury tax than any small market team should go, even if they DO employ the league's best player. And I still say that the only team between them and the finals is Orlando, and that if they do make it there, they will likely win them... BUT If they don't, he is splitsville, and Mike Brown should be fired as a result. Again, to his credit, LeBron doesn't blame others when they lose, even though the losses could be placed on the laps of a lack of helpand on a lack of coaching, respectively. In my opinion, though, I still think that is a bit disingenuous, kind of a way to be able to claim all responsibility for victories on the converse. That said, he won't blame any losses on his shoulders, he has the media, all too willing to ride his dick to do that for him. |

Ehh, I don' think Mike Brown is a good coach. If it weren't for LeBron on his roster I think he would be hidden in the sports news section.
I can't picture this team getting to the Championship, forget winning it. They shouldn't be losing by such a huge margin to Boston, it says a lot. I see Boston as a ghost of its former championship self. If the Cavs lose out LeBron is gonna book it and convince one of the league's superstar free agents available this year to come with. I would boot Mike Brown, Shaq and Varejao...

as much as i don't like Boston, I dont like Cleveland more. So hopefully Boston in 6. If somehow Cleveland loses, and LBJ bounces to NY as a result, I still won't like him...probably.
